Petitions To Run For Mayor, Village Trustee Now Available

(The following press release was issued by the village of New Lenox.)

NEW LENOX, IL - The Consolidated Election will be held on April 2, 2019. The Village of New Lenox will have the following positions available:

• Mayor position, four-year term
• (3) Trustee positions, four-year term

Petition packets for New Lenox Mayor and Trustee positions will be available for pick up at the Village Clerk’s Office in the New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway.

Hours are – Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

First day to circulate petitions is September 18.

The first day to file petitions is December 10, at 8:30 a.m. The last day to file is December 17, at 5 p.m.
