New Lenox Doctor Who Delivered 2016 Baby Now Being Sued
Perla Escobedo is suing Dr. Francisco Garcini who works at the Silver Cross Hospital medical complex.

JOLIET, IL - A woman who lives in Minooka has retained a Chicago lawyer, Michael C. Goode, to file a lawsuit at the Will County Courthouse blaming Dr. Francisco Garcini for problems to her body as a result of the delivery of her first child. The lawsuit against Dr. Garcini, who has had excellent reviews of his work on Google, asks Will County's judicial system to award plaintiff Perla Escobedo "an amount exceeding $50,000 and for her costs of this action and for that relief deemed appropriate by this court."
Dr. Garcini works in New Lenox on Silver Cross Boulevard near the Silver Cross Hospital. His website proclaims "You won’t find a more caring or more compassionate doctor. Ask any of the thousands of women of all ages whom he has helped and who still entrust their care to him today."
According to Escobedo's civil lawsuit, she was under Dr. Garcini's care in late 2015 and early 2016 "for matters pertaining to her first pregnancy and delivery of her then unborn child."

The lawsuit alleges that Dr. Garcini "failed to adequately and properly assess the condition of the plaintiff prior to performing an episiotomy during the delivery of plaintiff's child."
Furthermore, "he failed to adequately and properly surgically repair the episiotomy and laceration from which the plaintiff was then and there suffering," her lawyer alleges. "He was otherwise careless and negligent in the diagnosis and treatment of the plaintiff during and following the delivery of plaintiff's child."

Additionally, Escobedo's lawsuit claims she has had "a severe injury to her self-esteem, her nervous system and her consortium; and that as a result of said injuries, plaintiff has suffered and will continue to suffer great physical and mental and emotional pain and disability ..."
Escobedo, who turns 32 next month, has asked Will County's judicial system to "award her judgment against the defendant ..."
