Multiple Water Main Breaks In New Lenox
The village began working to repair several water main breaks in town Thursday afternoon.
NEW LENOX, IL -- Multiple water main breaks have been reported in New Lenox Thursday afternoon, according to a Nixle alert from the village.
At 2:30 p.m., the village was experiencing breaks on Charleston Avenue, South Pine St. near @nd Avenue, Illinois Highway near Southgate and on Joliet Highway near Martino Junior High.
"Residents near these areas may see lower than usual water pressure," the alert read. "Please use caution when traveling in these areas. Pressure will be restored as soon as possible."
