New Lenox AMC Theatre Reopening Jan. 29

Moviegoers will be able to see "The Marksman," "News of the World," "Monster Hunter," "The Croods: A New Age," and "Wonder Woman 1984".

NEW LENOX, IL — Now that Will County has entered Tier 1 mitigations, the New Lenox AMC Theatre is reopening Jan. 29. According to a release, moviegoers will be able to see "The Marksman," "News of the World," "Monster Hunter," "Fatale," "The Croods: A New Age," and "Wonder Woman 1984."

AMC also offers private showings for up to 20 friends and family members, although rentals must be made at least one day in advance and are subject to availability at the theater. In accordance with guidance from state officials, AMC also continues to restrict capacity at Illinois theaters to 25 percent.

According to a release from the business, AMC has developed AMC Safe and Clean, with cooperation from public health and safety experts, which will be enforced at all AMC locations. Policies include mandatory mask wearing and social distancing within the theater; as well as cleaning and nightly disinfecting, upgraded air filtration efforts, and hand sanitizing stations.
