New Lenox Chamber Accepting Applications For Scholarship Program

The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships to graduating students from Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way West and Providence.

NEW LENOX, IL — Each year, the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce awards scholarships to graduating students from the three area high schools, Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way West and Providence Catholic. The chamber said the scholarship committee will award selected students with a $1,000 scholarship.

Students applying for the scholarship must be graduating seniors enrolled at one of the three high schools located in New Lenox: Lincoln-Way Central High School, Lincoln-Way West High School or Providence Catholic High School. Students must reside in the village of New Lenox or New Lenox Township. Lastly, students must plan to attend a technical or trade school, business college, or a two or four-year college or university, the chamber said.

Applications are now available online. Completed applications should be returned to the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce office on or before 5 p.m. Friday, March 6. Applications may be submitted in-person or by mail. A drop box will be available outside the chamber office for students submitting applications outside of normal office hours.
