New Lenox Chamber Awards Three Students With Annual Scholarships
Each of the three students received a check in the amount of $750.
NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Chamber of Commerce has awarded its annual scholarships to area students from Lincoln-Way Central High School, Lincoln-Way West High School, and Providence Catholic High School.
According to the chamber, this year’s honorees were Amanda Murphy from Lincoln-Way Central High School, Hannah Hospodar from Lincoln-Way West High School, and Grace Dryer from Providence Catholic High School. Each student received a check in the amount of $750.
The chamber said the Scholarship Selection Team reviewed a number of qualified applications before making their selections.

“The caliber of applications we receive is outstanding. The committee was thoroughly impressed by this year’s applicants. We are proud to honor these three students," New Lenox Chamber of Commerce President Patty Cunningham, Paramont EO / Crest Lighting, said in a release.
“Amanda, Hannah, and Grace are fantastic examples of the young people in our area. Not only are they amazing students, but all three have strong extracurricular involvement and great community spirit. It’s an honor to be a part of their academic journey,” said Emily Johnson, Chamber CEO.
