New Lenox Cheerleaders Win Three First Place Titles
Area Athletes Take Home Three First Place Wins

Local athletes from Dreamz Elite Allstars in New Lenox nabbed three first place competitive allstar cheerleading titles on November 9th Champion Spirit Group - Cheer for the Cure Championship competition in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Members of Dreamz Elite Allstars won the Grand Championship award in the Youth - Level One division in a field of eight teams, as well as first place wins in Senior-Level Two and the Senior Co-ed- Level Four categories.
In addition to the competition awards, the team came home with three additional awards: Best Tumbling, Best Choreography and Best Sportsmanship.

“It’s very rewarding to see the judges express such confidence in our athletes,” says Kimberly Scherp, a former Chicago Bulls Luvabull cheerleader and co-owner of Dreamz Elite Allstars. ”All our teams have worked extremely hard, spending many evening and weekend hours perfecting their routines. Dreamz Elite Allstars is a member of the U.S. Allstar Federation (USASF), the governing body for allstar cheer and dance, and serves the top cheerleading and tumbling athletes in Chicago’s Southland. The program is located at Flipstars Gymnastics Academy in New Lenox at 1906 Ferro Drive, just north of Lincoln Way West High School off Gougar Road (Hwy 52) in between Interstate I-80 and West Lincoln Highway (Interstate 30).
