New Lenox Christmas In Commons: Sneak Peek Photos
It starts Sunday afternoon. New this year, New Lenox's festival features a holiday market place.

NEW LENOX, IL - Will County's fastest growing community is now just days away from showing off its village commons for another month-long Christmas holiday cheer. Christmas in the Commons kicks off Sunday afternoon. New Lenox Santa is back for the second straight year, and he hasn't shrunk an inch. This week, the village's public works crews were busy setting up the ornamental decorations and setting up the ice shanties around the village commons area, 1 Veterans Parkway.
There will be ice skating. Children can bring their Christmas wish-list letters to drop them into Santa's mailbox. New this year is the holiday market featuring several vendors. The market is open from 2 to 6 p.m. this Sunday. December promises to be a terrific time around New Lenox and village officials encourage people young and old, current and former residents, and people from all over Will County to consider venturing over to New Lenox to check out the holiday cheer!
