'I Want My 80s' Tour Coming To New Lenox, 1 Of 5 Shows In Summer Concert Series
The "I Want My 80s Tour" is coming to New Lenox in June. It's one of 5 shows in the series, Mayor Tim Baldermann said.
NEW LENOX, IL — New Lenox residents got a glimpse of this year's Summer Concert Series, with one act unveiled this week.
The "I Want My 80s Tour"—featuring "Jessie's Girl" crooner Rick Springfield, John Waite and Wang Chung—will roll into the New Lenox Commons on Friday, June 27. They'll also be joined by Paul Young at the New Lenox stop, according to UltimateClassicRock.com.
The show is one of five concerts lined up for the series, New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann said Thursday. Tickets for each show will be sold separately, sticking with last year's shift from the all-inclusive Triple Play package, and focusing instead on single show sales.
