New Lenox Cops Catch Walgreens Shoplifter: Police

A New Lenox man was caught stealing from a local Walgreens, police said.

Kevin Schlak, 28, was charged with retail theft in connection with the alleged Dec. 15 caper at the Schoolhouse Road Walgreens.

An officer sent to the store shortly before 8 a.m. was told “that Schlak removed merchandise from the store without paying for it,” police said.

Schlak was released after he posted bond.
