New Lenox Cops Link Aurora Man to Walmart Shoplifting

The New Lenox police tracked down and arrested an Aurora man who allegedly stole from the local Walmart last month.

Matthew Hunt, 25, was charged with retail theft and taken to the Will County jail Monday. He remains in custody, according to county records.

An officer was sent to the Walmart Nov. 19 to investigate a report of shoplifting.

“A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the offender, Hunt,” police said.

Hunt’s bond was set at $50,000.
