New Lenox Cops Raid Cedar Road House, Arrest 3
The police said they found marijuana and a gun in the house.

The New Lenox police raided a house on South Cedar Road Wednesday morning and arrested two young men and a young woman.
The cops hit the house about 8:15 a.m. and found marijuana and a handgun, police said.
“The department received information about possible drug activity and conducted an investigation,” police said. “The subsequent investigation led to the development of enough probable cause for the issuance of a search warrant for 926 S. Cedar.”

Two residents of that address, Ryan Smith, 21, and Sara Zyla, 22, were taken into custody. Smith was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of a firearm by a felon. Zylas was charged only with possession of cannabis.
Seaf Zayed, 19, of Mokena was also charged with possession of cannabis.

Zylas and Zayed were released on bond. Smith was taken to the Will County jail.
