New Lenox District 122 Chooses New Superintendent
Current superintendent Peggy Manville will retire on June 30, 2020.
NEW LENOX, IL — District 122 has chosen its next superintendent. At the board of education meeting on Sept. 17, the board approved a 3-year contract for Dr. Lori Motsch.
Current superintendent Peggy Manville will retire on June 30, 2020.
According to a message from Manville, Motsch will assume the role of superintendent on July 1, 2020. Motsch started as a kindergarten teacher at Schmuhl School 24 years ago. She has served as an assistant principal, principal, and most recently as Director of Personnel for District 122.

Motsch has a Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, a Master's in Education from the University of St. Francis, and a Doctorate from the University of St. Francis.
"I look forward to my future role in 2020," Motsch said in a release. "Having spent the majority of my professional career in New Lenox School District 122, I have a deep understanding and appreciation of our school community. I am proud to serve the wonderful students, their families, our talented staff and the community."
