New Lenox Fire to Lay Wreaths at Veterans' Graves
The Village and fire department are participating in the Wreaths Across America, and need your help to reach their goal.

The New Lenox Fire Protection District (NLFPD) and the Village of New Lenox are honoring the nation’s veterans through the Wreaths Across America campaign. They will be sponsoring wreaths to be placed at the Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
The Abraham Lincoln Cemetery has 43,000 grave sites. Unfortunately, each year not every gravesite receives a wreath.
“It is our goal to sponsor and provide as many wreaths as possible to help fill the void and honor each veteran’s gravesite through the Wreaths Across America program,” said NLFPD Fire Chief Steve Engledow.
