New Lenox Fire Protection District Collects Toys For Tots
Area residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys at each of the four fire stations through Dec. 5.

NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Fire Protection District is now collecting items for Toys for Tots. The district said area residents can drop off new, unwrapped toys at each of the four fire stations through Dec. 5.
Any toys collected after Dec. 5 will be delivered to the New Lenox Township and Silver Cross Hospital.
“We are happy to once again support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve with their Toys for Tots program,” fire chief Adam Riegel said in a release. “Last year we were able to collect over 500 toys for less fortunate children in our area with the help of our district’s residents.”

The drop off locations are: station 1, 261 E. Maple St.; station 2, 1205 N. Cedar Road; station 3, 930 N. Country Creek Drive; and station 4, 19819 Schoolhouse Road.
The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots is a program that collects new, unwrapped toys
during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
