New Lenox Firefighters Will Raise Money For MDA
Firefighters will collect money from motorists at two busy New Lenox intersections over the next three Fridays.
NEW LENOX, IL -- New Lenox firefighters will raise money for the Muscular Distrophy Association and their annual Boot Drive over the next three Fridays on street corners in the village.
Firefighters will be collecting money at the intersections of Francis Road and Cedar Road and Nelson Road and Laraway Road between 3-6 p.m. on Aug. 4, 11 and 18.
“We’d love to see the residents of New Lenox and area communities join us in our campaign to fill the boot,” NLFPD Chief Adam Riegel said. “Last year we were able to raise over $5,200 for the MDA and we hope to exceed that amount this year.”
