New Lenox Hires New Police Officer With Experience
He had achieved the rank of corporal at his previous police department.

NEW LENOX, IL - The New Lenox Police Department has announced the hiring of 29-year-old Ryan Bartels as the newest village police officer. Bartels previously served as a police officer with the Posen Police Department for seven years, where he attained the rank of corporal.
According to New Lenox, Bartels graduated from Westwood College in 2009 with a degree in criminal justice.
"Bartels comes to the NLPD highly recommended and has vast experience in DUI enforcement, and truck overweight enforcement. Ofc. Bartles was a Field Training Officer and an Evidence Technician at the Posen PD. We are excited to have him on our department," the police department states.

New Lenox Police officials said the hiring was necessary after another officer recently retired.
