New Lenox Hog Wild Hit In Smash-And-Grab, Gaming Machines Targeted: NLPD

The burglary happened in the early morning hours April 2.

NEW LENOX, IL — A smash-and-grab crew hit Hog Wild in New Lenox in the early morning hours April 2, according to police reports.

Police were called at 4 a.m. to the business, 1300 N. Cedar Rd., for a report of a burglary. Cameras at the business captured four people in masks and gloves breaking the front door to get into the business, and then targeting gaming machines, an ATM and a cash register.

The suspects left with one black box taken from one of the gaming machines. No suspect descriptions were available, police said.

The box contained approximately $4,700, according to police reports.

The incident is under review for assignment or case closure.
