New Lenox Honors Former Will County Board Member
Ray Tuminello served on the plan commission and as village trustee, before he was appointed to the Will County Board in 2014.

NEW LENOX, IL — At its Monday meeting, the New Lenox Village Board honored former Will County Board Member Ray Tuminello with a distinguished service award.
"Ray spent a tremendous amount of his time, energy and life here in New Lenox making a positive difference for the residents of not only our community but beyond," Mayor Tim Baldermann said during the meeting.
Tuminello served on the plan commission for the village and as village trustee, before he was appointed to the Will County Board in 2014. He was running for his second term as county board member when he withdrew his name due to work conflicts.

"He was just as supportive of our village as a county board member as he was when he was a village trustee," Baldermann said.
"It really means a lot to me," Tuminello said. "This building has a tremendous amount of memories in it."
