NEW LENOX, IL - It's almost time for the ultimate summer celebration: The 4th of July 2018 is right around the corner, and area communities are gearing up for Independence Day celebrations, complete with fireworks, food, live music and more. Here's a look at how and when area towns are celebrating.

NEW LENOX: Fireworks begin at dusk. You can enter the Village Commons starting at 6 p.m. There will also be other events including the Joliet American Legion Band and a performance by Epic.
