New Lenox Lions Club Plans Annual Garden Party Fashion Show

The New Lenox Lions Club will host its annual Garden Party Fashion Show at 1:30 p.m. March 22 at the VFW Post 9545, 323 Old Hickory Road, in New Lenox.

“This is the twelfth year for the show,” Lisa Kline, fashion show chairperson, said in a release. “We love that the Lions Club brings together our local business owners for this event and uses local ladies as models. I can’t wait to see the different looks that walk the runway this year.”

The club said the 2020 show will feature fashions from Briosa Boutique, Made For Me Boutique, Moody Blues Boutique, and Black Tie Formal Wear. Fleckenstein's Bakery and Bella Fiori Flower Shop are sponsors this year. Carol McGowan from WCCQ 98.3 FM will be the event MC.

Tickets for the show are $25 per person and include soup, salad, dessert buffet and wine. There is also a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes and various local vendors.

The clubs said funds raised from the event will help provide eye exams and glasses, access to vision and hearing testing for children, Christmas baskets to families in need, scholarships to area students and more.
