New Lenox Makes $246K On Video Gaming In 2019 So Far

NEW LENOX, IL — Video gaming has been a much debated topic since the Video Gaming Act was passed in Illinois in 2009. There are thousands of video gaming terminals across the state, and there are 84 terminals in New Lenox alone.

The most recent revenue data from the Illinois Gaming Board is from November. According to the gaming board, from January to November, $62,424,615.04 was the amount "played" or gambled in New Lenox. However, the total amount of funds in, or the money people actually put in the machines, was $19,606,942.

Overall, the terminals had a net terminal income of $4,922,917.54, with $1,300,291.46 going to the state and $246,146.35 going to the village of New Lenox.

According to the Illinois Gaming Board, in 2019, New Lenox had 18 establishments which have video gaming. The establishments are:

  • "The Original" Little Joe's Pizza, Inc., has three terminals
  • 280 Mattina Inc. (Mattina Cafe), has five terminals
  • 3 Corners NL Inc., (3 Corners Grill and Tap) has five terminals
  • Arrowhead Ales Brewing Company have five terminals
  • Aurora Bull Dog Co. (Bulldog Ale House) has four terminals
  • BPNL, LLC (Beggar's Pizza), has four terminals
  • Buy Right Properties, LLC (Badda Bing's Italian Beef and Sausage), has five terminals
  • Harry E. Anderson Post 9545, Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, has five terminals
  • Hickory Creek Brewing Company, LLC, has three terminals
  • JBD White Horse Inn, LLC, has five terminals
  • Laraway Lanes, LLC, has five terminals
  • Lenny's Food N Fuel, LLC, has five terminals
  • New Lenox Community Park District (at Sanctuary Golf Course) has five terminals
  • Ridgeway Petroleum, Inc. (Ridgeway IX - Exxon gas station), has five terminals
  • Thomas E. Hartung American Legion Post 1977 has five terminals
  • Tom Kelly's Chophouse & Pub, LLC, has five terminals
  • Williamson's Restaurant and Bar, Inc., has five terminals
  • Zin Cafe Inc., has five terminals

The busiest place for video gaming in New Lenox was Lenny's Food N Fuel, 2560 N. Cedar Road, where $16,404,900.48 was "played," the funds in was $4,964,949, and the net terminal income was $1,303,933.92.
