New Lenox Man Carrying Painkillers Scuffles With Cops After Violating Court Order By Visiting Ex-Wife's: Police
The New Lenox man was jailed after his run-in with the cops, police said.

A New Lenox man scuffled with the cops after he violated a court order by dropping by his ex-wife’s place, and to top it off turned out to be carrying painkillers, police said.
Thomas Jankowski, 62, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and violating an order of protection.
An officer was sent to a residence on Midnight Pass about 9:45 a.m. Thursday to check out a complaint of a disturbance.

“The officer discovered that Jankowski had an active order of protection against him to be at that address,” police said. “While taking Jankowski into custody he resisted and the officers discovered he was in possession of hydrocodone.”
Jankowski was taken to the Will County jail.
