New Lenox Man Caught Stealing Alcohol From Gas Station: Police

A New Lenox man got caught stealing alcohol from a Speedway station, police said.

Ronald Ingram, 42, was charged with retail theft in connection with the alleged Wednesday afternoon caper at the Speedway on West Maple Street near Nelson Road.

An “officer was dispatched to Speedway in reference to a report of retail theft,” police said. “The complainant advised that Ingram took alcohol from the store without paying for it.”

Ingram was released from custody after he posted bond.
