New Lenox Man Caught Stealing From Target: Cops

A New Lenox man’s bid to stash Target products in a bag before slipping out of the store was thwarted, police said.

The alleged shoplifter, Michael Harn, 21, of 817 S. Cedar Road, was charged with retail theft in connection with his failed attempt to steal from the East Lincoln Highway megastore.

An officer sent to the Target shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday was told “Harn removed merchandise from the shelf, placed the merchandise in a bag and left the store without paying for the merchandise,” police said.

Harn was released after he posted bond.
