New Lenox Motorcyclist Dies Following Hit-and-Run
A 35-year-old New Lenox man has died from his injuries. Cops seeking tips on accident.

A New Lenox man has died one day after he was the victim of a hit-and-run in Lockport.
Robert Haag, 35, was pronounced dead Tuesday at 6:57 p.m. at Silver Cross Hospital. Haag was the driver of a motorcycle headed northbound on State Street near 8th Street Monday, when a vehicle turned in front of him from southbound State Street. Haag lost control of his motorcycle while trying to avoid the car. He fell off the motorcycle and possibly struck the rear passenger side of the car.
The vehicle, described by witnesses as a light-colored four door sedan, left the scene eastbound on 8th Street. The driver of the car was described as a middle-aged male with dark hair.

Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact the Lockport Police Department at (815)838-2132. Funeral arrangements for Haag are still pending.
