New Lenox Man Groomed Minors, Asked For Nude Photos: Complaint
Anthony Carbone, 19, sent and asked for nude photos from minors, and was charged with three counts of grooming, among others.

NEW LENOX, IL — A New Lenox man has multiple charges against him after he allegedly groomed a minor, and asked for and sent them nude pictures. Anthony Carbone, 19, of the 800 block of Spinnaker Drive, was arrested by Mokena Police Department and has been charged with two counts of indecent solicitation of a child, three counts of unlawful grooming, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child, and distribution of harmful material to a minor.
According to Will County court documents, Carbone committed indecent solicitation of a child between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16.
"[Carbone] knowingly solicited a child...one whom he reasonably believed to be under age of 17, to perform an act of sexual penetration," the complaint states.

Carbone was also charged with a second count of indecent solicitation of a child. Court documents state he discussed an act of sexual conduct or sexual penetration with a child over the Internet "with the intent that the offense of aggravated criminal sexual abuse be committed."
Carbone is also charged with two counts of unlawful grooming involving two different minors which court documents state happened Nov. 7 and Nov. 16. According to the documents, Carbone solicited a child to distribute photographs depicting the sex organs of the child.

The third charge of unlawful grooming happened between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16, court documents state. Carbone used the Internet to solicit a child to engage in "unlawful sexual conduct."
Carbone was also charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Court documents state Carbone "exposed his sex organs for the purpose of sexual arousal or gratification" and also masturbated in the virtual presence of a child.
Carbone's last charge for this case is distribution of harmful material to a minor. Court documents state he knowingly distributed material which depicts nudity, a picture of a penis, to a minor.
Carbone has already faced charges once this year. In June, he was charged with aggravated battery after he knocked down a woman on the Old Plank Road Trail in Frankfort.
Through their investigation at the time, police said they learned the attack was sexually motivated. However, Carbone became startled and immediately fled after knocking the victim to the ground.
Carbone's bond was set at $1 million and his next court date is Jan. 9 for both of these cases.
