New Lenox Man Keeps Stealing From Walmart: Police

A New Lenox man repeatedly stole from the local Walmart, police said.

Matthew Muir, 20, was finally apprehended about 5:15 p.m. Friday after he stole from the East Lincoln Highway superstore no less than three times, police said.

An officer sent to the Walmart was told that “on three different occasions Muir had removed merchandise from the store without paying for it,” police said.

Muir was taken to the Will County jail.
