New Lenox Man Wanted In Peoria Picked Up During Traffic Stop: Police

The man was taken to jail in Joliet and then shipped off to the Peoria County jail.

A New Lenox man wanted in Peoria was captured during a Saturday morning traffic stop.

Clayton McMullen, 42, was also charged with driving on a revoked license and driving with an expired registration after he was pulled over about 8:30 a.m. near the corner of Route 30 and Cedar Road.

McMullen was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and then shipped off to the Peoria County jail. He remains in custody.

McMullen failed to appear for a driving under the influence case in Peoria, according to court records.
