New Lenox Man Wins $550K In Lottery
Patrick Kennedy matched all five Lucky Day Lotto numbers from a midday drawing in June.
NEW LENOX, IL -- A New Lenox man is more than a half-million richer after he got lucky with a lottery ticket more than a month ago. Patrick Kennedy won a $550,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot from the Illinois Lottery by matching all five winning numbers from the midday drawing on June 30, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.
Kennedy's Quick Pick ticket that day had the numbers 07, 12, 33, 42 and 43. Those were the exact numbers picked in the drawing.
“I’m going to share this money with my family,” Kennedy said when he presented his ticket at the Illinois Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.

The winning ticket was purchased at Jewel-Osco, 2021 E. Laraway, in New Lenox. The store received $5,500 for selling the ticket.
