New Lenox Offers Course On Surviving An Active Shooter Event
The course will provide participants with information on how to respond to an active shooter situation, regardless of where it might occur.
NEW LENOX, IL — The village of New Lenox, through its Safe Communities America Coalition, will offer a course on “Surviving an Active Shooter Event.” The free, 2-hour course will be held on Aug. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Christ Mission Church/Living Waters Children's Center, 22811 S. Cedar Road, Manhattan.
The village said the course was designed by the National Safety Council and will provide participants with information on how to respond to an active shooter situation, regardless of where it might occur.
