New Lenox Park District Honors Youth Football Teams

The New Lenox Community Park District recently honored four youth football teams for their outstanding seasons.

The Park District passed four resolutions honoring the New Lenox Youth Football’s Varsity Junior Knights and Superlight Junior Warriors, as well as the New Lenox Mustang Lightweight and Pee Wee A Red Football Teams.

Each team was presented with an engraved plaque. The park board members congratulated the teams on their success in the sport of football.

“These football organizations exemplify the necessary qualities and drive to succeed in not only football but all sports," said Executive Director Greg Lewis. "We are so pleased to be able to recognize these outstanding organizations and their teams.”
