NEW LENOX, IL — The village of New Lenox will hold a new event this year on Saturday, Aug. 10. The Chalk Walk will offer an opportunity to create a masterpiece in the Village Commons with sidewalk chalk, the village said.
The event is open to all. If you don't want to create any art, you can walk through the Commons and see all that is being created. The Chalk Walk will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there will also be live music, food and beverages, and other activities at the event.
You must register for the event, and space is limited.
