NEW LENOX, IL — A town hall meeting will be held on April 23 at 7 p.m. in the village council chambers to discuss the increase in vehicle burglaries and car thefts in town. The village said it is important that people hear the facts and are able to voice concerns.

New Lenox Police Department will also be at the meeting to show how many of these incidents have occurred, where and how they occurred, and the police response to the incidents.

"We are experiencing the same issues as all the other communities, but we still feel a need to address our residents to provide the facts and answer any concerns," the village shared on Facebook.
