New Lenox Plans Virtual Program For Parents Of New Teen Drivers
The program will feature speakers from Illinois Secretary of State's Office, Lincoln-Way D210 and the New Lenox Police Department.
NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Safe Communities America Coalition will hold a virtual program for parents of new teen drivers, called "Teen Driver? What Every Parent Should Know." The program will be held via Zoom from 7 to 8 p.m. on June 25.
According to a release, the program will feature guest speakers from the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office, Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 Driver’s Education Department, Top Driver Driving School, the New Lenox Police Department, and Country Financial.
The program will cover the graduated driver licensing program, Lincoln-Way Driver Education curriculum, a police officer perspective on how the graduated driver licensing program is enforced in New Lenox, auto insurance considerations and guidance for parents including information about the 50 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.
