NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Police Department is hiring for lateral officers.

Starting salary ranges between $70,000–90,000, depending on qualifications. Top salary is $122,697. Officers work 12-hour shifts.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must successfully complete a background investigation, oral interview, psychological exam, polygraph, and medical exam.
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years of continuous full‑time experience as a sworn, certified Illinois law enforcement officer in good standing with your current department. (There are no exceptions to this requirement.)
