New Lenox Police Host Food Drive For Local Pantries
Donation sites are at New Lenox Village Hall and New Lenox Police Department.

NEW LENOX, IL — The New Lenox Police Department is partnering with New Lenox School District 122 to help feed the community. The department said it is sponsoring the 11th annual Cops Care food drive, to support local pantries.
The event will run from Monday, Feb. 25 to Friday, March 22.
According to the department, the students at District 122 schools will be competing by classroom, and the classroom that brings in the most unexpired, nonperishable food items will be rewarded with a pizza party, courtesy of the New Lenox Police Department.

The food drive will also be open to the entire village. Donation sites are at New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway, and New Lenox Police Department, 200 Veterans Parkway.
