New Lenox Proud American Days 2019: Schedule, Info

NEW LENOX, IL — The annual Proud American Days will return to New Lenox once again from July 25-July 28. The event features entertainment, a carnival, food and drink, and more. The fest is held at 601 E. Lincoln Highway in New Lenox and is presented by the New Lenox Community Park District.

According to the event website, the first Proud American Days was held in 1984 by the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce. Over 30,000 people from across the area attend the fest.

Thursday, July 25

• New Lenox Lions Club Annual Raffle, $10 per ticket
• Bags tournament (ages 21+), 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
• Carnival, 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
• Games tent
• 4Cast, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• 7th Heaven, 8 to 10 p.m.

Friday, July 26

• New Lenox Lions Club Special Needs Day (invite only) from noon to 3 p.m.
• Carnival, 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
• Bags tournament, 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
• Games tent
• The Jersey Girls, 7 to 9 p.m.
• Infinity, 9:30 p.m. to midnight

Saturday, July 27

• Craft show, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Baby contest, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Carnival, 1 to 11 p.m.
• Face painting, critter show, noon to 2 p.m.
• Bags tournament, 1 to 5 p.m.
• Games tent
• All About Music Youth Rock band, 2 to 3:30 p.m.

The entertainment tent is for ages 21 and older on Thursday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
