New Lenox Releases Jam-Packed Summer 2026 Event Lineup

NEW LENOX, IL — The Village of New Lenox this week released its summer event schedule, bringing back a full lineup of beloved seasonal traditions.

Returning are the well-liked Cruise the Commons, Movie Nights, Fridays After Five and Food Fight: Taco Fest.

The New Lenox Summer Concert Series features five shows this year, ranging from country to 80s/90s throwback rockers. Tickets for all shows are on sale now to both New Lenox residents and the general public.

The Village's special events series kicks off May 3, with the Loyalty Day Parade. With the roundabout at Cedar and Haven done, the route shifts back to the one used in 2025, kicking off at the intersection of Cedar and Joliet Highway, heading west on Joliet Highway to Gear Drive and then turning north, all the way to its end in the New Lenox Village Commons.

Next up is the first Cruise the Commons, at 5 p.m. on May 19.

The farmers market is back for its first Thursday of the season on May 21, returning weekly at 4 p.m.
