New Lenox Township Putting on Medicare Program
The 90-minute class explains the ins and outs of Medicare.

The New Lenox Township Family Services Foundation will hold the first half of a two part program on Medicare supplemental insurance Thursday.
The 90-minute class starts at 6:30 p.m. at the New Lenox VFW Post 9545, 323 Old Hickory Road.
The first part of the program, "Medicare Basics," will be taught by Loretto Cowhig, a community planner for the Northeastern Illinois Agency on Aging.
"One of the most important decisions a person has to make who is 65 years or older or is nearing age 65 is choosing the right type of Medicare," according to a statement released by the township. "Please join us and learn about the confusing world of Medicare. Whether you are 65 and older, nearing 65, child or grandchild of a senior citizen or a caregiver, all are welcome to attend."
Anyone with questions about the program was invited to call Kathie Johnson at 815-485-6431.
