New Lenox Trustee Nancy Dye Resigns

New Lenox trustee Nancy Dye announced her resignation at Monday’s Village Board meeting.

Dye, who won re-election in April 2015, will move into the role of Economic Development Director for the Village, according to Mayor Tim Baldermann.

Her resignation was official last week; Dye will begin in her new position Monday. She had served as trustee since 2002.

Mayor Tim Baldermann will consult with the board to appoint a replacement. That person will serve until 2017, when he or she will have to campaign for re-election then, and again in 2019. Residents interested in the seat should contact Baldermann at tbaldermann@newlenox.net.
