New Lenox Volunteers Honored For Service By Silver Cross

NEW LENOX, IL — Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox recently honored its volunteers at the hospital's annual recognition luncheon. According to a release, with four volunteer organizations: Advisory Board (Encore Resale Shop), Childerguild (Gift Shop) and The Will County Union of King’s Daughters and Sons (founders of Silver Cross) and Inservice volunteers, nearly 700 area residents donate their time and talents to raise funds for the hospital and assist in daily operations.

Several residents of New Lenox were honored at the luncheon including:

• 5 years of service, Pat Andrews, Childerguild
• 10 years of service, Kim Brooks, Childerguild
• 20 years of service, Rita Loarson, Childerguild and King's Daughter
• 500 hours of service, Leanne Kubinski, In-Service
• 1,000 hours of service, Bruce Bissell, In-Service
• 1,000 hours of service, Sharyn Buckner, In-Service
• 1,000 hours of service, Nancy Dykshorn, In-Service
• 1,000 hours of service, Marilyn Sargent, In-Service
• 1,000 hours of service, Richard Sargent, In-Service
