New Lenox Woman Caught Driving Drunk and Carrying Pills: Police
The New Lenox woman was jailed on drunken driving and drug charges.

A New Lenox woman was jailed on drunken driving and drug charges after she was pulled over late Sunday night, police said.
Sarah Wegler, 33, was stopped shortly before midnight near the corner of Cedar Road and Elm Street.
An unspecified “disturbance” preceded Wegler’s arrest, according to police. An officer sent to look into the disturbance was told Wegler had already taken off.

“The officer located (Wegler) driving and noticed that she disobeyed a traffic control device,” police said.
“The officer conducted a stop and discovered that the driver, Wegler, was under the influence of alcohol,” police said. “The officer also discovered that the (Wegler) was in possession of prescription medicine without having proof of prescription.”

Wegler remains in custody at the Will County jail.
