New Lenox Woman Crashes Car, Gets Arrested For Suspended License: Cops

A New Lenox woman crashed her car and then got arrested when it turned out she had a suspended license, police said.

Juanita Lopez, 43, of 124 W. Maple St. collided with another vehicle near the corner Cedar Road and Route 6 shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday.

An officer sent out to the crash scene “discovered that the driver of one of the vehicles had a suspended license,” police said.

Lopez was also charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash. She was released on bond.
