No, Your New Lenox Starbucks Isn't Closing

You might be wondering what’s going on at the New Lenox Starbucks location, 2550 E. Lincoln Hwy. But don’t worry, it’s not going anywhere.
The store is closed for renovations as it prepares to serve alcohol as an addition to its menu—beer and wine, specifically.
The drive-thru is expected to reopen Saturday, Jan. 30, but the cafe will remain closed until Feb. 6. The business’ request for a liquor license will be heard during the Village Board meeting Monday, Feb. 8. They will not serve alcohol until after the license is granted.
