North Pole Adventure Planned In New Lenox

NEW LENOX, IL — Take an adventure to the North Pole with the New Lenox Community Park District Dec. 14 and Dec. 15. The event is for all ages and will be held at Sanctuary Golf Course, starting with trips at 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

You will take a bus journey that will drop you off at the North Pole, where you will get to visit with Santa, the park district said. Families should bring cameras for pictures.

After seeing Santa, you will head to his workshop where there are games and activities for families. The whole trip takes about an hour, and you can come dressed in your pajamas.

The bus leaves at 4 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Dec. 14; and 4 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Dec. 15.
