NuMark Credit Union Gives Cash Back to Members

NuMark Credit Union is celebrating their 60th Anniversary and approved a loan interest rebate and a bonus dividend on checking accounts.

Joliet, IL, January 2015 – In recent history, there is a common theme among banks: bank fees and more bank fees. However that isn’t the case at NuMark Credit Union. NuMark members received cash back on December 31st. NuMark members with a qualifying consumer loan received a 5% Annual Loan Interest Rebate and those members with personal checking accounts received a 5% Checking Bonus for the month of December.

In 2014, NuMark Credit Union returned nearly $250,000 to members. Why? NuMark Credit Union is celebrating their 60th Anniversary and their Board of Directors approved both a loan interest rebate and a bonus dividend on checking accounts. For the past 60 years, NuMark’s mission has been to “Enrich the financial lives of their members.”

“It pays to be a member of NuMark Credit Union because when the credit union does well, we share our success by returning some of the profits to our members,” says Ann M. Dubie, President and CEO. “While other financial institutions are charging more for their checking accounts, higher rates on loans and raising fees, it is a pleasure to give cash back.”

In recent years, NuMark Credit Union has given back over $1,000,000 to their members in bonus dividends and loan rebates. Credit Unions may offer similar products and services as banks however credit unions do not have paid stockholders like banks; instead, they are owned and operated by the very people they serve -- their members.

“Our volunteer board of directors always keep our member’s best interest in mind,” said Dubie. “We hope our members enjoy their Special Checking Bonus and Loan Rebate. We truly appreciate their business.”
