She was a loving and devoted wife, supporting her then boyfriend at the race track by working as his pit crew. She was a fun sister and friend, who enjoyed trips to Vegas. She was an amazing mother who disregarded doctors telling her she would never be able to have children, and documented and celebrated every moment with her two kids. She also adored her animals, especially her late shih tzus, Pooh and Pookie. A wonderful cook, she loved hosting family events and parties, and especially enjoyed celebrating the holidays. She enjoyed a simple life of relaxing by the pool listening to country music, watching shows and movies or reading, her favorite books being Stephen King's.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 36 years, William T. Hoffmeyer; two loving children, Jesse W. Hoffmeyer and Jennifer Rose Hoffmeyer; and cherished sister, Patty (the late Pete) Orlando.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Fred C. Dames Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
