Trevor Scott Teeter
Trevor Scott Teeter, of Sycamore, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the age of 27. He was born on June 27, 1997, in Downers Grove, IL, the son of Diana (nee Gutierrez) and Scott Teeter. He grew up in Plainfield and was a graduate of Plainfield Central High School.

Trevor was incredibly talented as a welder and used that skill set to continuously advance in his career as one. Outside of work, he found joy in kayaking, a competitive round of darts with his wife, boat rides on the lake, a bonfire with friends, and a cruise on the motorcycle—forever seeking the next journey, whether on the road, in the water, or with his friends and family.

Trevor is survived by his devoted wife, Halle Boddy; his supportive parents, Scott and Diana Teeter; his beloved sister, Marisa (Eric) Tremore; his cherished niece and nephew, Eliza and Luca Tremore; maternal grandmother, Ann Marie Gutierrez; his best friend/canine companion, “Beef Wellington”; and his best friends, Chris “Wes” Wesoly and Brandon Allen. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norma and Charlie Teeter; and his maternal grandfather, Salvador Gutierrez.
Visitation for Trevor Scott Teeter will be held at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a Sharing of Memories beginning at 5:30 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
