Pedestrian Struck By Truck in Front of Lincoln-Way Central High School
District officials do not believe it was a student who was hit by the tractor-trailer.
A pedestrian was struck by a tractor-trailer in front of Lincoln-Way Central High School Friday morning.
Lincoln-Way High School District spokeswoman Stacy Holland said officials were “90 percent sure” the pedestrian was not a student. A source said the police had initially believed the injured person was a Lincoln-Way Central student but no further information was immediately made available.
Holland said school officials were checking attendance records to confirm the injured person was not a student.
